ABOUT OUR PROJECT

The textile industry consists of a number of units engaged in spinning, weaving, dyeing, printing, finishing and a number of other processes that are required to convert fibre into a finished fabric or garment. During cotton processing in textile industries or fabric cutting in denim industries a lot of fine cotton dust is suspended in the atmosphere which possess numerous health hazards amongst the operators and employees. Dust from raw cotton may contain a mixture of substance including bacteria, fungi, pesticides and other contaminants. In order to protect the people working in the industry, it is important to measure the concentration of cotton dust levels and keep them in check. Click the button below to know about the solution we propose for a cotton dust monitoring system using Internet of Things.
